Radiant Heating:

There are many types of radiant heating and each one has a specific delivery and boiler system. Older style systems may have stand up cast iron radiators or cast iron baseboard. While an older style of radiant heating, it is by far more economical to use this type of radiant heating over a forced air system. This type of radiant heat is best suited for a high temperature delivery boiler or a low condensation boiler that will store the heat produced in a solid core design. Low temperature in floor or under floor radiant has newer engineering and design. Polybutylene tubing is used as a delivery system in which lower temperature water circulates through each zone evenly so that there is a pervasive consistent temperature. This is a perfect application for 96% efficient condensing modulating boilers. These boilers systems also provide the Domestic Hot Water for the home. Ask us for details.
